About

Ten years of
last-mile work.

TekLink started in Oklahoma City in 2015 doing installation and repair. We added underground construction in 2021 because waiting on someone else's bore was costing our own crews days.

Est. 2015 · 4327 SW 21st St, Oklahoma City, OK 73108 · 70+ years combined experience

The full TekLink fleet and crew, staged together at the yard. Trucks lined up, everyone in frame, shot wide and slightly low so it reads as a real operation.

How we got here

  1. 2015

    Founded

Jeremy Birlew starts TekLink in Oklahoma City doing telecom installation and repair. One market, a short list of customers, and work that either got done right or did not get paid for.

  2. 2018

    Fulfillment at volume

Install and service work grows into a steady fulfillment operation for regional providers. The crew count and the ticket count go up together.

  3. 2021

    Underground

We move into underground construction and buried service wire, because our own drop crews kept waiting on somebody else’s bore. Mainline and drop come under one project manager.

  4. Now

    Oklahoma and the Midwest

15,000+ completed connections, four service lines, and crews that travel when the volume justifies it. Still small enough that the owner knows every name on the payroll.

Leadership

Who you'll deal with.

Robert Rose

President

Runs the business day to day: customers, crews and the numbers behind both. The one who tells you what TekLink can absorb, and the one who says no when the answer is no.

Richard McElroy

VP, Construction

Owns the work in the field. Schedules, methods, crews and the call on how a difficult bore or a bad soil condition gets handled. Answers his phone.

Jeremy Birlew

Founder

Started the company in 2015 and set the standard the crews still work to: bury it right, restore it clean, close it out on time.

Michelle Davis, Senior Manager HR, handles crew onboarding and paperwork. Additional staff and org detail — [TBD - client]

How we work

Bury it right

Depth, protection and placement to spec, whether or not anyone is going to check.

Restore it clean

The property owner should not be able to tell where we worked.

Close it on time

A ticket is not done when the cable is in. It is done when the paperwork is back.

Say the hard thing

A schedule slip you hear about early is a problem. One you hear about late is a crisis.

  • Est. 2015. Same ownership, same standard.
  • 15,000+ completed connections. Not customers served — connections finished.
  • 70+ years combined experience across the leadership team.
  • Four service lines under one project manager, so nothing falls in a handoff.
